Femi's feeling's
Quote= " you must relax," he ordered. but femi held his arm so stiffly that the man had to struggle to raise her brother's hand up to the pad. "This isnt going to work unless you relax", he repeated. second qoute= " with a sharp tug ,Femi pulled his hand away and he folded his arm's tightly around him.Third quote the set of his jaw showed that his teeth were clenched they remained clinched even when he was washing the ink of of his finger's". Fourth quote = "sade asked femi to make up a quiz with her now while they waited, he shrugged her off irritably. instead he buried him self in the comic that mama appiah had bought him."

Sades view
I was getting ready for school when i heard screaming i ran outside and saw my dad holding my mom on his lap there was blood every where we went to court are uncle new who did this tried to reason with the judges but nothing happened that night it was decided that me and my brother get passports to london are uncle sent out to get them wonce we found out we got pass ports and we would have a new mom. After we packed we told are dad good by and left for the airport my friend whos know me sense i was born we could not tell we couildnt tyell any one all this happened on the same day it was so quick it haert to think of all that happened.
SETTING OF THE NOVEL
Sades family lives in southern africa and there family has been living there for years until there dad disides to stand for what is right and chanlenge some peole by telling them that they did somthing wrong. The people he knew where doing wrong did not want to get in trouble so they attemt to kill sades father and end up killing the mother so the father arranges for sade and her brother to be smuggled into london with there uncle till it is safe to return living in southern africa pass ports are needed making the trip alot diffulcult besides the back ground of the person there traveling with.

Beverley NAIDOO
Beverly Naidoo the auther of the award wining book called the other side of truth was born and brought up a 'Jo'burg girl' in the days when South Africa which was one of the world's most openly racist countries. Being brought up in a whites only school blinded her from the truth after she left she was chanlenge to think which made her feal terrible of the things she could not see, inspiring her to write many books about southern africans.
